Asian Spicy Chili Meat Surprise

All recipes posted here are a composite of random recipes found online, in various cookbooks, taken from family, friends, neighbors and dishes/creations I have tried and/or made myself. Any similarity to people's personal or unique family recipes is purely coincidental, and no one actually owns the rights to any food combinations if you think about it. No matter how unique. Food for thought?!

INGREDIENTS

16 oz of any meat you wish. I used sausage but Chicken or Beef is just as good
about 1TPSP of Fresh minced Ginger
About 2 TBSP powdered Ginger
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 Cup Oyster Sauce ( remember this is super salty)
1/4 Cup Sweet Chili Sauce
Chow Mein Noodles or Udon or regular (but thick) Pasta (However much you want)
1 good sized branch of Bok Choy (shred or cut into smaller pieces)
1 head of Broccoli (cut into bite sized pieces)
1 large White or Yellow Onion ( Peal and cut/mince as desired)
1 can of Bamboo Shoots, Water Chestnuts and/or Shitaki Mushrooms ( Drain first)

Bring a large sized pot of water to a boil, adding the Vegetables, Spices, Oyster Sauce and Meat ( If you are cooking with Chicken, I would recommend making sure the pieces are cut up into smaller bite sized pieces and to start cooking them before you add all the other ingredients). Cook on Medium-High until Vegetables and Meat are just about finished. Add Chow Mein Noodles towards the end and cook for an additional 5 minutes, checking to make sure the noodles do not get mushy. Turn heat off, add a cup of cold water and let stand for roughly 2 or 3 minutes as Chow Mein Noodles will thicken as a result. Drain away most of the liquid, but keep about 10% of it to use a partial sauce. Top dish with Sweet or Hot Chili Sauce and serve with anything else you might wish to. Can feed at least 4 people and takes less than 15 minutes to make-ENJOY!
