Grammar Grammar Grammar

I feel I should let people know that sometimes I will post like 20 mini Blogs in a single day, and other times I will post just a few a week. My style of writing tends to be Stream of Consciousness, which does not always lend itself well to the written word. So please keep this in mind as well as the fact that I will also will make numerous spelling and grammatical errors in my posts. Naturally I will endeavor to correct my post as I go along, both new & old, but you should be forewarned. Sending me nasty emails or leaving comments criticizing what I have written or what I have to say is fine, but just harping on my grammar, spelling & writing style is not. This Blog is mainly for fun, if you want something that is letter perfect or Yale graduate material you should go elsewhere! I was a computer graphics major in college, my main thing is Art for the most part. Plus artist or creative people in general are supposed to be horrid speller to begin with. This is just for fun and a way to express myself, nothing more and nothing less. If you find that the only thing you have to send or post to me or to most people is pure criticizm, than you might want to reflect on what that says about you as a person if you only have negative things to say. To quite Babmi, "If you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all."

  1. Quoting Bambi? Haha Nice, and accually very thoughtful! I would like to add that since computers have taken over, more and more errors in language is occurring and I personally think that the English will take harm by this in time to come. Most people do not look at what they are typing, and so it will automaticly be errors in it. When, as you said in "Email ettiquite: My how things have changed" people do not write letters anymore, but when you wrote a letter you would always see what errors you made. Or maybe im just rambling :)

I would like to add that the internet has made it harder to learn english. Instead of writing the entire word short-words are often used as in:
Orly? Well, mby ill bb 2morrow, so cu. Thx!

This makes the students make errors in school. Spelling Thanks - Thanx, and Maybe - Maby.
Mby really puzzels me as the Y is placed on the wrong side of the B.

    Or mby im just rambling?
